Tulsa design-build remodeler since 1981
You don't have to move to get the house you want.
The Buckingham Group has designed and built remodels for Tulsa homeowners since 1981. The whole project gets planned before construction begins.
Design and build, one company
Remodeling your home is a big decision. It shouldn't feel like a risk.
Design and construction sit under one contract here, so the people who draw your remodel are the people who build it. Plans, specifications, selections, and a fixed price are settled before demolition starts, and a project manager stays on the job through the final walkthrough.
Edward Kaplan founded the company in 1981 and still leads it, working with designers, craftsmen, and project managers he selected himself.
One contract
Design and construction are handled by the same company, so there is one place to go with a question.
A fixed price first
Scope, specifications, and price are set in the proposal before construction begins.
Five-year carpenter warranty
Carpentry workmanship is covered for five years, and the Lifetime Home Care program picks up from there.

In their own words
Letters from clients.
“Once again you succeeded in the remodel of our new home on Louisville in a way that is a testimony to your creativity. This is the third home you have remodeled for us and we would not think of using anyone other than The Buckingham Group. Your scheduling and the quality of your workmanship is exceptional.”D & S
Kitchen remodel
“Your attention to planning detail and knowledge of the practical do’s and don’ts during a remodel made our construction experience predictable and dare I say fun at times. Your years of experience and knowledge of how the process flows made it easier for us to understand the construction process during each phase. Finally, and most importantly, your compassion for our feelings during the entire process and sensible approach to the real difficulties of trying to remodel a home and live a normal life were the most important contributors to our project’s success.”M & B
Kitchen remodel
“After spending several years living in Europe, we returned to Tulsa with an abundance of ideas that would align our diets and kitchen needs with the healthier cooking concepts that we had learned to enjoy abroad. We noticed a remodel being done in the neighborhood, visited with the Home Owner, who recommended we contact Ed Kaplan of The Buckingham Group. The results of the contact and the subsequent design created a kitchen that satisfied all of our requirements.”J & K
Multiple workstations kitchen remodel
“Our home was constructed in 1928 and after 84 years the front porch was not only showing its age, but in desperate need of repair. The Buckingham Group restored the porch in all of its intricate details. They carefully removed and identified all of the original components and rebuilt it using the materials specified in the original drawings. The attention to detail by their staff is outstanding. The carpenters on the job were a pleasure to work with.”J & D
